Grandparents for Peace sponsored the second annual "Mothers Day for Peace" in La Plaza de la Constitucion in St. Augustine. Catherine Archer provided music and Julia Ward Howe's "Mother Day Proclamation" was read.

I was disappointed that there were not more people, but happy to have sponsored the event. The music was good, the Grandparents for Peace banner was visible, and everyone of us had a chance to say something heartfelt about Mothers or Grandmothers, and to share a "Peace of the Pie" with friends. - Peg
