Members of St. Augustine People for Peace and Justice and Veterans for Peace joined about 50 others in Wage Peace's silent "Walk Through the Parks" from Riverside Park to Memorial Park in Five Points in Jacksonville, an observance of the 5th anniversary of this outrageous war.

Dear Peace People,

We had a wonderful "Walk Through the Parks" on Sunday. New folks who had read about us in Folio or heard about us on Andy's show showed up to give their support. And while we were in our circle at Memorial Park, a number of people stopped and joined our silent observance. We read a selection of peace quotes and made new friends and promised to keep in touch. This is how our message spreads. It's a great feeling!
