For those who worry that Bush will pardon Cheney, spare yourselves the agony.
It really won't make any difference if Cheney gets officially pardoned or not. The political cowards or complicit (AKA Democrats in Congress) will wipe Bushco's treachery "off the table" as neatly as they did impeachment.

Lest we forget, it was a majority-Democrat Senate that -- defying historical precedent and any nano-shred of integrity or decency or constitutionality -- gifted Bush the sword of war to be used at his whim. Nor can we neglect to keep in mind that we -- the great American electorate -- have abided, if not encouraged, the atrocity in the Middle East and the trashing of our Constitution to persist for the past six years.

In summary, regardless of his crimson and historical guilt, Cheney will be back on the open "range once more, totin' his old forty-four," while we continue to sop up the Support-Our-Troops propaganda and other such treachery. Pogo would love this.

Is there nothing, then, that we can do now, after abiding six years of treachery and historical disgrace, and witnessing the institutionalization of the peace orgs, and suffering the betrayal of cowardly so-called "opposition" politicians of whatever partisanship? Sure there is: DO SOMETHING THAT MAKES AN ACTUAL DIFFERENCE !

Ah, but there's a price to pay: Real Inconvenience, Real Discomforts, and Real Risks.
